Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our small accountancy practice as a Trainee Apprentice Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our team of experienced accountants, while working towards a professional accounting qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to our team of experienced accountants
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and VAT returns
Learn and assist with bookkeeping tasks
Learn and assist with payroll tasks
Learn and assist with tax planning and compliance
Completing on-the-job training and off-the-job training to achieve a professional accounting qualification (AAT) – Day release will be granted to the candidates selected college
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 7 GCSEs at grade B or above, including Maths and English
Strong interest in accounting and finance
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
